Goenka Hospital in association with the institutes of Goenka Campus viz. GRIDS and MRIAS organized a Mega Free Medical Camp at Sapavada Village of Mehsana District. It included Free Dental Check up, Ayurvedic Consulting and Allopathic consulting all together. People in large number from sapavada village and nearby surrounding area took advantage of the camp. General Awareness drive was also conducted by doctors regarding cleanliness and proactive efforts to save oneself from increasing threats of contaminating and non contaminating diseases. Total 800 patients received benefits from the camp. We are thankful to the I. M. Patel and T. N. Patel Jagruti Vidhyalaya for supporting us in our arrangement
Blood Donation Camp was organized by Lions Club of Gandhinagar at Goenka Hospital Campus on 22nd September 2018. There was an overwhelming response from the students and staff members of Goenka Hospital, Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science and Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science. The President, Mr. Piyush Shah along with other dignitaries of Lions Club of Gandhinagar have grace the occasion. A Certificate of Appreciation, Donation card and Refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
72nd Independence Day Celebration at Goenka Campus
Bholaram Education Society celebrated Independence Day at Goenka Campus, Gandhinagar on 15th August 2018, with great enthusiasm and respect. The ceremony started at 8:30 AM in the campus ground. The Goenka Team unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. The dignitaries present on the occasion, Dr. Hina Baria (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Haresh Soni (Principal, MRIAS ), Mr. Amal Pandey ( Administrator), Dr. N.K. Patel ( Gynecologist), Dr. Dhaivat Vora (Sr. Ayurvedic Consultant), Dr. Arvind Singh ( Medical Administrator ) along with Staff and students expressed their sentiments and aspirations for the country through English and Gujarati speeches. The celebration continued with patriotic songs in melodious voice of MRIAS students, Dance performances by the House keeping staff, Quiz Competition, Prize distribution and Musical Chair for the students and staff. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
Manjushree research institute of Ayurvedic Science today (21.06.18) observed International Yoga Day with the collaboration of NSS unit and Swasthavritta Department of the institute. In which demonstration of various Asanas was done as per guidelines provided in Common Yoga Protocol by Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi.
Also Rally was organized in Pethapur Village from Pethapur Char Rasta to Main Bazaar for Yoga awareness. Students and teachers of Manjushree Institute participated enthusiastically in this event and total 230 teacher and students observed the International Yoga Day
A warm see off was given to our beloved Principal Dr.Baldev Parmar. He Served MRIAS for 3 consecutive year from 19/5/2015 to 31/5/2018 in all ups and downs before attaining age of retirement. He provided proper guidance and support to build state of art college. His contribution to MRIAS is immeasurable and inspiring. We heartily thank him to be part of MRIAS for such a long and crucial period of time. His conduct with all the employees was very good which was shared by employees in the ceremony in terms of anecdotes. Cake cutting was done and snacks were arranged for all. We pray for long, happy and prosperous life of Dr.Baldev Parmar.
World Health Day was celebrated in the MRIAS where students did Nasya Treatment for the first time on the fellow student volunteers. Nasya was followed by Quiz Competition based on the theme of “Ashtang Hridayam”. Special video making competition was organized theme for which was kept as “Din Charya”. Students effectively proposed the ayurvedic solutions which can be brought under our day to day life. Prizes were distributed to winners.
World Water Day was celebrated in MRIAS under NSS Program to bring awareness regarding the importance of Scarce and Precious resource “Water”. Competitions with the theme of World Water Day were organized between students. Rangoli Competition, Poster Making Competition and Elocution Competition were arranged. Students beautifully presented their concerns regarding water in terms of Rangoli, Poster and Words. Scarcity of water will directly affect the “Food-Water-Energy” Nexus due to their instinctive relation with each other. To maintain balance in nature one should use water judiciously and consider its value.
With the aim of bringing awareness regarding Depression and Suicide Prevention under National Health Mission. A Targeted Intervention Program was held in all the institutes as well as the Hospital of the Goenka Campus for Students and Staff Members as well. Series of Lectures were held containing agendas to deal with stress and depression to prevent suicide. According to an estimate 80% of suicides are avoidable but due to lack of awareness we are not able to prevent them from happening. Importance of Psychiatry in solution of such problem was also explained in the lecture to eradicate the misconceptions among people regarding depression and other mental illness.
Competitions, Events, Dance, Garba, Food, DJ and what not? Goenka Campus in its Marathon Annual Event experienced the thrilling journey for 7 days starting from 5th February to 11th February. Inter college Annual Fest “ROOTS 2018” included all the Institutes of Goenka Campus Viz. MRIAS, GRIDS, MINS and GH. ROOTS 2018 became one of a kind event due to well thought and Themed events which included Food Without Fire Competition, Dance Competition, Singing, Movie Making and the list goes on and on. Exciting Prizes were distributed to the winners of each competition
Goenka Campus celebrated Holi, the Festival of Color. Staff members and Students from all institutes of the campus Viz. MRIAS, GRIDS, MINS and Goenka Hospital greeted each others with colors. We wish a very Happy and colorful Holi to all. May this Festival of color brings colors of joy in the life of each of us
We are elated to announce that one of our student Baldaniya Shreedhar B. earned 3rd position in Inter College Cross Country 10000 Metre race held at Kolavada, Gandhinagar organized by Gujarat Ayurved University. We heartily congratulate Shreedhar for his achievement. We also would like to thank Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar for organizing such an amazing event with really good coordination and management.
With the high spirits of Nationalism the 69th Republic Day was celebrated in the Goenka Campus with lots of enthusiasm and devotion for the country. On this auspicious occasion Ex IPS Mr.Parmar joined us as our chief guest. He shared his experiences to motivate all the audience to do good for the country in any and every situation. The event included performances and competitions and snacks after which prices were distributed to the winners
Goenka Campus celebrated the most awaited kite festival “UDAN 2018” with the whole hearted participation of all the institutes viz. MRIAS, GRIDS and MINS of the campus. Students and Staff Members participated in the kite flying and Dancing on the beats of DJ post kite flying session. Participants also got a chance to pleasure their taste buds by eating various items from the stalls in the campus. It was refreshing to see the excitement, energy and positivity in the campus
Farewells are always difficult but life goes on…!
With all the best wishes we gave a big farewell to our dearest employee, Mr Amal Raj Pandey. The one who played a very important role in managing the administrations and achievement of certain milestones for the organization. We will always be thankful for your contribution in the path of our success. We wish you all the luck in all your future endeavors. A very emotional see off event was organized by management large number of employees became part of the grand farewell.
Tejas Patel brought honour to our institute by winning 2 bronze medals in University level Discus throw and shot put event held at Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar.
Team from our Institute participated in various other events also. We at MRIAS believe in all round development of students in each and every arena.
