National Commission for Indian System of Medicine is the apex statutory regulatory body established by the Government of India for the governance, regulation, and development of education and professional practice in the Indian Systems of Medicine. The Commission was constituted on June 11, 2021 under the provisions of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 replacing the Indian Medicine Central Council (IMCC) Act, 1970.
