Dr. Satyajit Pandurang Kulkarni is an accomplished Ayurvedic academician, clinician, and researcher currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Panchakarma at Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science, Gandhinagar. He has over 16 years of undergraduate teaching experience and more than 8 years of postgraduate teaching experience in Ayurveda.
Dr. Kulkarni is the recipient of the Postgraduate Teacher Award (Panchakarma) conferred by the All-India Ayurveda Teachers Association (ATA), Nagpur in August 2025, recognizing his outstanding contribution to postgraduate education in Ayurveda.
He has made significant contributions to Ayurvedic research and scientific publishing, with more than 20 research publications in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Medline indexed journals. He is also the author of two textbooks, including A Textbook of Panchakarma as per New CCIM Syllabus (Chaukhambha Publications, 2019), and a contributor to a Scopus-indexed international book chapter published by Elsevier/Academic Press titled Translational Models of Parkinson’s Disease and Related Movement Disorders.
Dr. Kulkarni has received international recognition, including a USD 300 publication grant from JMIR Publications, Canada, and multiple awards for research presentations. He has served as Co-Chairperson at the World Ayurveda Congress 2018 (Ahmedabad) and the National Seminar on Panchakarma 2019 (Nagpur).
He is an MUHS-approved postgraduate teacher, has served as PG examiner and thesis evaluator at multiple universities, and acts as a peer reviewer and editorial board member for several indexed journals. His academic work focuses on clinical Panchakarma, integrative medicine, and translational research in Ayurveda.
