Prof. (Dr.) Parul Anilkumar Joshi is a distinguished academician, clinician, researcher, and administrator in the field of Ayurveda, presently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Prasutitantra & Streeroga at Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science. With over 35 years of dedicated experience in teaching, clinical practice, research, and institutional leadership, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening Ayurvedic education and women’s healthcare.

An M.S. (Ayurveda) postgraduate in Prasutitantra & Streeroga and a B.A.M.S. graduate, she combines strong academic foundations with rich grassroots and administrative experience. Her career journey spans roles from Lady Medical Officer to Professor, Principal, Medical Superintendent, and Assistant Director (AYUSH), Government of Gujarat.

She has authored and presented 35 research papers at national and international platforms, published multiple peer-reviewed articles, contributed book chapters, and delivered over 500 invited lectures and webinars, including global forums. She, being a prolific writer, has authored 12 books, translated and edited several publications, and written more than 3000 health-related articles in multiple languages.

Prof. Joshi is deeply committed to her lifelong mission of promoting authentic Ayurvedic practice and inspiring students to practice Ayurveda in its true spirit. Her work reflects a rare blend of academic excellence, administrative vision, research orientation, and unwavering dedication to women’s health and holistic medical education.
