Dr. Nitin Vala is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rachana Sharir (Anatomy) at Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science. He is committed to imparting comprehensive knowledge of Ayurvedic anatomy through an integrated academic approach that bridges classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary anatomical understanding. His teaching philosophy is centered on conceptual clarity, practical orientation, and clinical applicability, thereby helping students develop a strong academic foundation and professional competence.
A dedicated academician, he continuously strives to foster a disciplined, interactive, and intellectually enriching learning environment through effective teaching methodologies, practical demonstrations, and proactive student mentorship. He believes that the study of Rachana Sharir forms a vital basis for clinical understanding and professional excellence in Ayurvedic education.
In addition to his academic role, he also serves as Sport Co-ordinator, where he actively contributes to the extracurricular and holistic development of students. His responsibilities include organizing annual sports activities, coordinating indoor and outdoor games, facilitating university-directed coaching camps, and encouraging student participation in intercollegiate and interuniversity sports competitions. Through this role, he promotes values of teamwork, leadership, discipline, and physical well-being among students.
Dr. Nitin Vala possesses significant clinical and public health experience. He has worked as a Night Resident Medical Officer (RMO) for one year each at Nayak Super Speciality Hospital, Vadodara, and Dadaji Children Hospital, Vadodara, where he acquired practical experience in emergency care, inpatient management, and hospital-based clinical services. He further served as an Ayush Medical Officer at Urban Health Centre, Veraval, for one and a half years during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to frontline healthcare services, community-based patient care, and public health management during a crucial healthcare emergency.
Ayurveda is an ancient system of Indian medicine rooted in Vedic knowledge that emphasizes balance of the body, mind, and spirit through harmony of the doshas. It promotes holistic health through education, discipline, and natural healing practices.
